The drive out to Ceres for Lani & Jan’s wedding was absolutely worth every second. From the moment that I arrived at Kaleo Guest Farm, I felt as though I was one of the family!

I remember receiving the call asking me if I was available to shoot their wedding. I was on the N2 heading out to a squash match (not that this was surprising at all!), and I had to do at least a double take when I heard that the date was not even a month away… A couple of calls to organise my personal life later, and I was booked. I finally got to meet Lani & Jan on their wedding day (not my usual workflow, but normal goes out the window when the booking comes in so close to the wedding day), and I’m so glad that I was able to photograph their wedding!

Their wedding day was filled with so much love – with all their family and friends joining them to celebrate their beginning of forever.

With little details that made this wedding perfectly “them”, it was an absolute pleasure to have the honour of photographing their big day. Their darling puppy was the perfect ring bearer, and we even managed to include Jan’s love of tractors into their couple shoot!
