When Kim contacted me to schedule her maternity shoot she mentioned that she was planning a nautical theme for her son’s nursery and that she would love to have her maternity photos taken at an old harbour. Kalk Bay was the obvious choice – lots of bright fishing boats and the harbour is easily accessible.

Kim & Gareth spent the entire shoot chatting, laughing and cuddling together, and made my job a complete dream!

These two are going to make wonderful parents – little Blake is one seriously lucky boy.

 

I loved shooting at Kalk Bay harbour, it made such a wonderful change from the standard Cape Town photoshoot locations – if you are interested in something a little different from the “norm”, please let me know, I’d love to hear your ideas.
