When I met with Widaad to chat about her ideas for an engagement shoot, she mentioned that a sunrise shoot would suit them because it’s not unusual for her and Paul to wake up early and head off to find a spot to surf just as the sun is rising.

 

Muizenberg Beach sounded like the perfect plan.

 

 

 

 

 

We even had some time to sneak in some family photos with their son 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After a few photos on the beach, they got changed into their wetsuits and headed out for a bit of a surf.  Special thanks to Pierre Marqua for being a superstar and heading into the water with them to capture the next set of images!
