I was booked to photograph Ryno’s proposal to Sam through the Perfect Proposal.  These are some of my favourite shoots, but I am always a little nervous beforehand.  Will they see me? Will she say yes?

 

The day that Ryno had planned to propose to Sam was one of the windiest Cape Town afternoons I’d experienced for while, but this didn’t stop them enjoy their time together.

 

Ryno had asked Pippa (from the Perfect Proposal) to set up the venue with photos of the two of them as well as a coffeetable book which showcased photographs from the years that they have been together.  The last page read “will you marry me?” and when Sam got to the end of the book, Ryno dropped to one knee and popped the question.  She said yes!

 

I was able to capture these special moments from behind some rocks and bushes, and then we took a few photos together before they enjoyed a romantic dinner at the restaurant.
