We talk on a short Zoom call. Tell me how you want to feel and how you want to be photographed. I plan your session around you.

I guide you into simple poses that show your personality. We match your outfits to different backdrops. Not photogenic? I hear it every week, and it is never true.

Before we finish, we try one shot that is completely out of the box. Something bold, playful or a little unexpected: a dramatic hat, a flower crown, or that idea you have always wanted to try. Just because. (And honestly, why not?)

About two weeks later, you come back to my studio. We watch a slideshow of your best images together. You choose your framed portrait, and any other favourites. You only buy the images you love. A virtual reveal is also possible.

QUESTIONS

What is the difference between portraits and branding?

The experience is the same: a consultation, hair and make-up, a guided shoot and a private reveal. With portraits, we celebrate the woman you are. With branding, we also capture images for your business. You choose when you enquire.

Do branding clients also get a framed portrait?

Yes. While you are here for your brand shoot, we also take a portrait just for you. Just because. You leave with it framed, with its digital file. At your reveal, you choose your favourite brand images, one by one or as a collection. You only buy the images you love.

What does it cost after the session fee?

Extra images are R 800 each, digital or with a matching print. Collections of 10, 20 or 30 images cost less per image, from R 6 000, in a folio box or album with matching digital files. You choose at your reveal, and you only buy the images you love. I share the full price list at your consultation. If you would love wall art or an album, plan for a total investment of R10 000 to R15 000.

Can I book with my daughter, my mom or my best friend?

Yes. A mother and daughter session costs R 7 950, with hair and make-up for both of you and one framed portrait for your home. For best friends, it costs R 8 950, with a framed portrait for each of you.

Do you photograph families and matric dances?

Yes, through At Last. A family session can be in my studio or on location, and a travel fee can apply for some locations. Hair and make-up for one person is included. Hair and make-up for each extra person is R 1 500.

I’m not photogenic. Will this work for me?

Yes. Nobody looks natural without guidance. I guide every pose and every expression, so you never wonder what to do.

Do I need to lose weight first?

No. Come exactly as you are. My free What to Wear guide helps you choose outfits that feel like you.

What if I can’t come to the reveal?

No stress. We can do your reveal online.
