Michelle & Paul got married at the beautiful Backsberg Estate in Franschoek on a beautiful, sunny, Summer day.  Their engagement shoot was one of the most personal shoots I’ve had the privilege of shooting, and I couldn’t wait for their wedding day.

 

The girls got ready at Sante Hotel & Spa, just a few minutes down the road from Backsberg, which made it really easy to get from them to the ceremony.

 

The team at Backsberg did an awesome job of setting up the ceremony venue outside on the lawns, and everybody took advantage of the beautiful sunny day in Franschoek.

 

 

We wandered around the grounds of the wine estate and were spoilt for choice for locations for their couple shoot.  Michelle was absolutely radiant on her wedding day!

 

 

The classic colour scheme for the decor complimented the venue perfectly, and the sweet table made the perfect wedding favours and desserts.

 

 

While the couple were busy with their couple shoot, the guests enjoyed some lawn games and bubbly.

 

 

The reception was a joyous occasion with friends and family having travelled from far and wide to join them on their big day.

 

 

My favourite part of the speeches was when Paul told his sister-in-law that there are no longer two Michelles with the same surname! Her reaction was priceless!
