Another love story with a happy ending.

 

Sebastian spoke to Paula from dial-a-picnic about organising a beautiful beach picnic so that he could propose to his girlfriend Shohana.  He also asked her to book a photographer to capture that special moment.  I am so glad that I was booked to photograph this once in a lifetime moment for the two of them!

 

Once the arrived at the beach, I stayed hidden as best I could (beaches are somewhat harder to hide on than other venues, just saying, you know!), and luckily for me, Shohana was so surprised by the lovely setup, flowers, champagne, and chalk board with message to her, that she didn’t look around too much (she may have seen the camera and my head popping up from behind a rock!).  As she looked at all the details that had been laid out for them, I noticed that every little detail was being captured on her cellphone – no wonder Sebastian booked a photographer for this moment.

 

 

 

Sebastian convinced her to hand over the camera so that he could take some photos of her on the beach, and so that she could open her surprise box.  Something tells me he knew what was coming next 😉

 

 

 

Once she opened the box, there was a simple message inside – “turn around”…

 

 

As she turned around, there he was, waiting, on one knee, ring out… And she said yes!

 

 

 

 

 

Once the shock had worn off, we spent a few minutes taking some portraits of the two of them – it’s an amazing location, and the light was just magical!
