harbour cruise engagement shoot

I know that the song goes “Let’s start at the very beginning, it’s a very good place to start…” but today I want to start at the end. Because when that’s the sunset (and view) at the end of your engagement shoot, you know that you’ve had an amazing shoot.
I’m still speechless about this one. Actually, I have to keep pinching myself because I keep thinking it didn’t really happen. But it did, and it was fantastic.
Ok, I guess now’s a good a time as ever to go back to the beginning. Resoketswe & Zwelethu booked me to shoot their gorgeous Cavalli wedding (I can’t wait to share that one with you too – there’s a story to be shared… but you’ll have to wait for another day), and they flew down from Gauteng a few months before the big day to finalise some wedding details. We took the opportunity to book in their engagement shoot. The plan was to head to Blouberg Beach – the view of Table Mountain was calling (of course), but then the morning of the shoot, I received an unusual (but freaking awesome) phonecall. They had decided to switch up the venue for the shoot, and had chartered a yacht for the evening.
Say whaaaaaat?!?!?!?
Yes, they totally did it. There may have been some very confused people around me when that call happened, I jumped up and down and squealed like a little girl. I’m pretty sure that everyone thought that I was completely crazy (my close friends will say that I am definitely completely crazy, all the time, but this was off the hook).
Time for their photos!
